Friday Follow - Clubhouse Edition

Only recently did I hop on the Clubhouse train, and I am so glad I did. Being able to jump in on these conversations from professional designers and hear from others in the community is a great way to pick other designers' brains.

I am very new to Clubhouse, but I have already listened in on some great conversations from designers who are worth the follow.

Here's a quick list of designers that you should follow right now on Clubhouse.

1. Anfisa Bogomolova (@anfisign)

UX Mentor & Senior UX Designer

Anfisa was recently a panelist on a Clubhouse chat discussing user personas and if they are actually useful in the research process. She has a ton of design experience, so her intuition of design is top-notch.

2. Ioana Teleanu (@uxgodies)

Designer & Educator

I discovered Ioana through the same user persona conversation with Anfisa, and I loved some of the insights she had to offer.

3. Miguel Makes (@miguelmakes)

UX Mentor & Founder of Rita Creative

Miguel has a strong connection with the design community as well as an ability to connect with veteran and beginner designers alike! Not to mention, he's been an amazing mentor to me these last few months (shout out to CareerFoundry for connecting us)! His next Clubhouse discussion is this Sunday, Feb. 14th, where he'll be a part of a panel discussing the struggles with anxiety and mental health in tech. Check it out!

4. Felix Lee (@felixlee)

Co-Founder of ADPList

I heard Felix talk during a Clubhouse chat discussing student and mentor relationships. He brought up some great points on how to make the most out of the student/mentor relationship.

5. Patricia Reiners (@ux.patricia)

Designer for VR/AR & Host of Future of UX podcast

Patricia was apart of a discussion with other female designers and I was especially intrigued by her thoughts. VR/AR design is so new to me, and it's interesting to hear about design in a different format than I'm familiar with.

This list could go on and on with recommendations on who to follow on Clubhouse. The truth is, the biggest trick to finding more designers to follow is by joining the discussions. There are so many intelligent and talented designers who take part in the discussion, so you could easily find a designer that aligns with your interests and skillsets that could be a great new connection for you!
