Up until the last few weeks, I have been completely in-the-dark about the opportunities on Slack. I have always used it as a messaging platform for work, but never realized the impact it can have on connecting with others and learning more about your industry.
I have had a few people ask me for design Slack groups to join, and I didn't have a great answer, so I decided to do some research and find some design communities worth the follow.
Check out this quick list to get you started in the design Slack communities!
2,000+ designers looking to learn and grow with their fellow creatives.
A professional UX design group with over 18,000 UX practitioners. The downfall is that this group is invite-only, so you will have to wait and see if your request to join is accepted.
3. Kelsario
This group was created by Kelsea Burke and is a place for designers to practice the whiteboard design challenge!
4. Content + UX
This is a group focused on content and its role in UX. This is another invite-only group, so you will have to sign up and wait for your acceptance in the group.

If you know of any essential design Slack groups that aren't on this list, please let me know!
